Ladies 5s suffered a 4-0 loss away at Leatherhead. Big thanks to Freddie Stacy for coming along early to umpire and to Amanda Harris for stepping into Goal. Mom unanimously goes to Fran Robinson for putting in a relentless fight and great running in midfield. Dod goes to Ellie Coward for thinking Manda’s child was called Rocky Road.

We love boozing

The L7 are currently leading for the ladies and the M4 leading for the men’s. It is a very tight contest for the men though, so depending on how the next couple of weekends go, it could swing one of many ways! So get down to the Clubhouse and help your team to the main victory that matters this season!

Heads up that the last Saturday that the Clubhouse is open this season is 25th March… only 2 more Saturdays to go! Any teams playing after this date will have to organise home teas in a local pub. Please talk to Becky Reid if you have any questions about this.

Wedding Bells!

Congratulations (in advance) to Wanderers Social Secretary and M6 player Oli Dobbs who is marrying L3s GK Lou Matson this Saturday in Belfast.

Spring Social this weekend!

The Saturday you’ve all been waiting for is nearly here! This Saturday is Rubik’s Cube night at the Clubhouse! Eds and Clapham Common hockey clubs will also be attending in what should be record numbers, so it should be a great night!

Dress code: Everyone wears 6 items of clothing in 6 different colours with the aim is of ending up with 6 items of one colour at the end of the night.

Colours that must be worn are red, white, yellow, green, blue, orange and can be any piece of clothing you like!

Social will start at 7.30pm but the clubhouse is open all day.

Remember, the Clubhouse is cash only and please don’t ask for a tab. There are several cash points nearby and the local Tesco does cash back.

Clubhouse open for the 6 Nations!

We’ve got some beer pong cups and balls behind the bar and along with board games so just ask Georgie and Ken if you want to use them. Not to mention (probably) the cheapest bar in Clapham!

All Saturday Six Nations games will be shown at the CH, both on the new big screen in the back bar, and the TV in the front bar:

Saturday 11th February 2017

Saturday 25th February 2017

Saturday 11th March 2017

Saturday 18th March 2017

Clubhouse opens for the new season this Saturday!

With the new season upon us and league games kicking off this Saturday we have the news you have all been waiting for… the Clubhouse is opening this Saturday, 17 September!

Please head down after your match, or pop along during the day, to enjoy a beer, cider or G’n’T jug (or 3), hopefully in the garden if the weather stays nice!

For all those new to the club, the Clubhouse can be found at the junction of Lavender Gardens and Clapham Common Northside.

Big gun points ahoy!
